Personal Data is important to us all. MyData is still in very early phases and that’s exactly why the goal of the hackathon is to get concrete examples, prototypes and concepts based on MyData. Influence the future development of ethical, human-centric use of personal data now! Shouting out to service designers, user experience experts, personal data enthusiasts, business developer, legal hackers and of course, coders!
Cool stuff to hack. There are some really interesting datasets, APIs and supporting technologies to help you, from our partners in Transportation, Public Services, Finance, Retail and Health & Wellbeing sectors. Create services using e.g. data about Citybikes, media usage, synthesized shopping data, bank transaction data. Use techs like the Watson/Bluemix toolset or MyData operator reference implementation! Or your favorite tools and data!
Join the fun! Free to enter. Free food and drink. Free public transport tickets in the Helsinki region for 5 days. Catch some sleep in hacker spirit! Some team members can also participate remotely! Get a slice of the 10 000 eur in prizes - and free access to the MyData Conference, with people from over 25 countries in attendance.
Best teams from this MyData hackathon qualify to the Ultrahack Main Event in November, where you can continue your work and compete for over 1 million euros in investments and some 200k euros in prizes!
