What happens if someone violates CKAN license?

Hello all, I need your advice please.

The Israeli government opened a CKAN portal, yet they do not acknowledge the name CKAN on the site nor do they share the code. Is there any penalty for someone who is doing it? We asked the government to add the source code a couple of time, but they dont seem to care.

Have they release it since you posted this?

Might be best to raise with the CKAN Association and see if they can ask as well. As CKAN is licenced under the AGPL they are required to release all of their extensions.

hello from the future! So, they released the code in 2018… GitHub - CIOIL/DataGovIL: CKAN is an open-source DMS (data management system) for powering data hubs and data portals. CKAN makes it easy to publish, share and use data. It powers datahub.io, catalog.data.gov and data.gov.uk among many other sites.

But since then they made additional changes and did not update the code

I also wrote about it here - https://groups.google.com/a/ckan.org/g/ckan-dev/c/xuyoNxTDZbA
