Hello,

As a former political scientist with experience in public sector work, I am currently undergoing retraining to work as a Java developer. My passion encompasses society, democracy, knowledge dissemination, as well as IT and coding.

For me, transparency in public affairs is of crucial importance, understanding the functioning of institutions. The principle of public access to official documents should be safeguarded and maintained in Sweden, as it constitutes a unique pillar in our democratic society.

During the program, I have delved into areas such as Java, Git, GitFlow, MySQL, and databases as a whole. I look forward to working with you all.

Working with coding and managing databases is something I enjoy, and I anticipate a mutually rewarding experience.

Jag heter Karin Ahlin och Ƥr doktorand i Informatik. Fƶrhoppningsvis ska jag disputera i slutet av 2016 och dƄ pƄ nyttoeffekter av teknikinformation. Tidigare har jag arbetat 25 Ƅr i IT-branschen, framfƶrallt med nytuveckling av programvara fƶr standardprodukter och ledning av utveckling. Jag har ett eget fƶretag i vilket jag arbetar med ƶppna data och tidigare Ƥven hackathons. Mitt fƶretag Ƥr knutet till Open Data Institute i London som en nƤtverksnod fƶr Gƶteborg.
