Announcing Frictionless Data Tool Fund

#1

Hey everyone,

Great news!

Open Knowledge International is now accepting applications for the Frictionless Data Tool Fund. Offering one-off grants of $5,000, the mini-grant scheme is open to any persons or organizations interested in extending the implementation of Frictionless Data libraries in additional programming languages, other than JS, Python and Ruby.

Read more about the fund, share widely in your networks and apply today.

If you have any questions, feel free to ask them here, or on our Gitter chat.

Have a great rest of the day.

If we want to propose a solution in more than one language should we submit multiple applications? The form does not seem to accept multiple values :frowning:

Good morning @PuZZleDucK,

Thank you for your question.

Yes, you would have to submit multiple applications. We would like to get as much detail as possible on any language that you apply to extend implementation of the tools in, thus the slight inconvenience.

Be sure to check the FAQ section on toolfund.frictionlessdata.io for updates on languages we’ve already awarded grants for.

Let me know if you have any more questions.
