Avatar keeps disappearing

I’ve been using an avatar at this Discourse forum for a very long time. This week it disappeared, reverting to a default person icon. I tried several times uploading it again and saving my profile, but a few minutes later the avatar reverts again to the default person icon.

So it seems that, at least in regards to uploaded avatars, either the images or the settings are not getting persisted properly.

Hi @herrmann, thanks for raising. I do notice lots of missing avatars. I’m raising the issue with out Discourse hosting provider. Cheers!

Yes. It seems that the problem persists.
The avatar did appear for a bit, but after reloading the page again it was gone once again.
