CKAN Answers - Community Consultation Session

Are you a developer working with open data portals and AI? More specifically, are you dealing with how to retrieve reliable information using LLMs? How are you designing it?

Join the technical consultation session that OKFN is organising around the CKAN Answers project. We will demo, test, share code, and learn.

:spiral_calendar: Wednesday, 25 March, 12:00 UTC.

Express your interest by adding a reply below, and we will send you a calendar invitation.

I’d interested in participating in the consultation

I’d be interested, doing a lot of this across open government and humanitarian datasets.

I’m interested in participating!

Very interested! Relevant to AI governance for state government we’re working on.

Surely interested to join!

A much needed discussion and we’re grateful we got a chance to share our experiments - I look forward to continuing the discussion here.

On that note, this recent interview with Yoshua Bengio and his “Scientist AI” approach is a must-watch:

For in it, he proposes an alternative path with a “safe-by-design” AI that’s being advanced by the LawZero non-profit he founded last year.

Perhaps, its also a way for other governments to make it a part of DPI?
