I’m sure this will be of interest to people here. The EU have published the European Union Public Licence “to publish your software, data, documents, specifications or source codes under an open source licence that has a clear legal standing in European law.”

It’s been around for a long time, only version 1.2 is new.
Interesting that they included “data” on the web page linked in answering the question “When is this solution for you?” I don’t see any particular affordances for data in the license text – mostly not a criticism, I’m fine with using open source licenses for anything – though given their long compatibility list perhaps they might have included ODbL.
