I wanted to share a funding opporutnity that @rgradeck brought to my attention. The Numen Fund is seeking proposals for three tiers of funded opportunities to advance feminist tech (as defined here). They are specifically seeking to fund projects centered in the following geographic areas and communities:
- Africa
- Asia, including Southeast, South, and East Asia
- Latin America
- The Caribbean
- Pacific Islands
- Eastern Europe & Central Asia
- Indigenous and migrant communities based anywhere in the world
The deadline is coming right up on Sunday, September 6! I’d love to learn of anyone who is planning to apply, or who knows of any projects that were previously funded by Numen.
