Humanitarian Data Exchange

Humanitarian Data Exchange

The Humanitarian Data Exchange (HDX) is an open platform for sharing data across crises and organizations. Launched in July 2014, the goal of HDX is to make humanitarian data easy to find and use. HDX has been accessed by millions of users in over 250 countries and territories and brings together more than 20,000 datasets from hundreds of partners.

HDX is managed by the United Nations Office for Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs’ (OCHA) Centre for Humanitarian Data, located in The Hague, the Netherlands. OCHA is responsible for coordinating humanitarian actors to ensure a coherent response to emergencies.

Thanks so much for providing the Tabular Data Endpoints!

This will provide much needed high value data for downstream analysis.

Does HDX support DCAT? I was hoping to use the DCAT endpoint to get the metadata for the entire catalog so we can use the TDE effectively.

Looking at https://data.humdata.org/api/3/action/status_show suggests the DCAT extension is installed but I can’t seem to find the DCAT endpoint.
