My name is Stephen and I work for the Open Knowledge Foundation.

Following the sad news that @oscarmontiel will be moving on from the Open Knowledge Foundation, I will be taking over the work he was doing to help make Open Data Day 2020 a great success. My email address is stephen.abbottpugh@okfn.org if anyone needs to get in touch with me.

For now, I wanted to share that we’ve just published a blogpost confirming that Saturday 7th March 2020 will be the date for Open Data Day 2020: https://blog.okfn.org/2019/11/08/getting-ready-for-open-data-day-2020-on-saturday-7th-march/

Oscar has also made sure that the Open Data Day website has been updated: http://opendataday.org

The hashtags for the event will be #OpenDataDay and #ODD2020.

We hope to open the application process for the Open Data Day 2020 mini-grants scheme in late January 2020.

Keep an eye on http://opendataday.org or join the Google Group at Redirecting to Google Groups to be notified as soon as we make the announcement.
