Hi everyone,

I’m Javiera and I co-coordinate the Open Education Working Group, our main aim is to provide support to educators and organisations working in open education projects.

We have a blog where we gather stories and outcomes from Open Ed projects from around the world http://education.okfn.org, also, we have some handbooks written by the community of practitioners and researchers Open Education Handbook | Open Education Working Group - http://education.okfn.org/files/2015/11/Book-Open-Data-as-Open-Educational-Resources1.pdf and we are moving towards supporting and promoting research and projects re- open education at international level.

My research is focused in the use of Open Data in education, and at UCL we will be hosting an event about it on the 4th of March, there are still some places if you want to join us UCL Event: Open Data as Open Educational Resources | UCL Digital Education team blog

Hi Javiera, we have a request from the open The Hewlett Foundation to help with some interesting research they are doing into open education networks. If you are interested and able to contribute to a short survey, can you give me a shout at jo.barratt@okfn.org, and i will provide you with some more information. They are particularly keen to get some input from the Open Education Working Group
