Who would like to set up an IODC proposal around data quality?
We know that data quality receives increased attention, but there is disagreement among practitioners, experts, and user what good data quality means. What aspects of quality matter to whom? And what steps can be taken to improve data quality?
This session can build on prior discussions on this forum. Currently I can envision it to be a dialogue between data practitioners and data users to exchange experiences when data becomes useful. It could also include some open data ‘quality failures’, or could use data examples and use cases, to make data quality as tangible as possible.
