Hey all! Many of you have likely seen this already, but the Sloan Foundation has an open call out for proposals related to their Open Source in Science strategy.
It’s been on my radar for a while as, through the POSE II project, we’ve had many conversations about sustainability - many of which return to questions surrounding mentorship, training, and workforce development.
The call explicitly supports inquiries into and interventions surrounding Roles & Career Paths. There are also opportunities related to Institutional Support for Open Source and Publication & Archiving.
You can learn more about the strategy here, and more about eligibility and their overall guidelines here.
