About the Belgium category

Open Knowledge Belgium, founded in February 2012, is a not-for-profit organisation and official chapter of the international okfn.org. Open Knowledge Belgium acts as an umbrella organisation for numerous open knowledge efforts in Belgium and strengthens the Open Data Community by creating projects and tools to help them along. It consists of people, mainly volunteers, passionate about openness, using advocacy, research, technology and projects to unlock information, enabling people to use and share knowledge.
