Over on GitHub, Open Data Census Issue #523 requests functionality to enable the Local and Regional Open Data Censuses to demonstrate progress overtime. On the Open Data Index many pages show this year’s data compared to last.
This functionality enables governments who are not at the top of the table to tell a good story even though they’re not as advanced as their peers.
I know there are some stability issues that take precedence but what do people think - Is this important functionality to have?
Perhaps you’d rather have a map for cities and regions (Index Issue #82)?
