"Data packages" spec "Reference/DOI" and "References" field(s)

I wonder where could/should we place

  • canonical reference for the dataset, which could be a structured bibliographical entry or a DOI
  • additional references, such as possibly papers describing dataset in greater detail

E.g. try to come up with a proper datapackage.json for some package distributing EEG Motor Movement/Imagery Dataset v1.0.0 dataset :wink:

@yarikoptic recommendation for DOIs right now is to add a DOI field:

"title": "My amazing Data Package"
"doi": "my doi"

Re additional references: put them in the README.md for the Data Package.
