Hi, I’'m hoony working at creative commons korea, especially for open data in Korea.

Recently, I’m interested in decentralizing and security techs such as blockchain or ipfs to help our society get more transprant as well as every citizen protect their own privacy.

While I’m diving into these techs, I’ve thought that it would be a nice idea to build a data portal system like ckan based on decentralized tech such as ipfs even with blockchain.

that could change the fundamental ways to store, share, and reuse open data. how do you think of this iead?

I think it’s far too early to speak about it.

First, it would be great to show organizations value of providing data to existing platforms, and advocate to existing platform providers an option to host data from different sources.
