From datapackage to dcat

Hi,
is there a way to pass from datapackage to dcat, starting from a simple json datapackage file?

Does exist some app to do it? I have not CKAN installed.

Hi! Do you mean this metadata format? Data Catalog Vocabulary (DCAT) - Version 2

So you want to have a converter that would take a JSON Data Table schema and produce a DCAT thing? Is that it?

I don’t know if the two formats contain all the same information… Anybody?

@aborruso I do not know of anything atm but this should be incredibly trivial to do (esp if you went for JSON-LD). Would you mind opening an issue here Issues · frictionlessdata/project · GitHub to record your user story (and to track any work on implementation).

@ajschumacher I think for DCAT it won’t be JSON Table Schema but basic Data Package metadata that you will want to convert.
