Hi, do you plan to make a Global Open Data Index 2017?

Where can we suggest the improvement against 2016? For example, the French cadastral information was release in October 2017 with an open license, so now this page is outdated (it is now 100% instead of 0%).

Hi @tubezlob. We won’t run a Global Index this year. In the post that Stephen shared we explain the focus of this year and what the future of data quality measurement from the OKI side might look like.

Hello,

There was no Open Data Index created in 2018.

  1. Will there be an Open Data Index for 2019?

  2. There is the Open Data Barometer. It has 30 countries in the 4th edition. Are there any other reports which try to rate open data progress?

Yes, there are others. The OECD has the OURdata Index, which is mostly limited to OECD member countries, and the Open Data Watch has the Open Data Inventory – ODIN ranking, which looks only at open data made available by official statistics organizations.

There is still not a new date defined for the next edition of the Index. Once this is clear, we will communicate the community about it.
