The Open Data Barometer Leaders Edition was released last week by the World Wide Web Foundation. Check it out!
This edition evaluates 30 governments that have either adopted the Open Data Charter or have signed up to the G20 Anti Corruption Open Data Principles.
Considering that there won’t be an Open Data Index this year. the “implementation” dimension of the ODB Leaders Edition offers a “less outdated” snapshot to this fast paced world of open data releases – the survey was collected about 10 months ago, compared to 2+ years ago of the GODI. Even so, it is an essential tool to assess open government data progress around the world and to compare performance between different countries.
