Helo, tudo bem?
Por mim ok. Um pedido que varias pessoas fizeram, é postar no Discuss esse tipo de pedidos de assinatura de posicionamentos. Você poderia postar?
Eu vou aderir no seu post, mas acho importante deixar o pedido público, pode ser?

Subject: [www_members] Request for Signatures Right to be Forgotten - Google France case
To: www_members@lists.riseup.net, fastafrica@lists.riseup.net
Dear members,
A group of UK lawyers is intervening in the French case on the right to be forgotten in France and requested I shared with as many South organisations the Amicus Curiae they are preparing, in hopes you will join their efforts too. Essentially, CNIL – the French data protection agency, has made a ruling that requires Google to implement French de-listing requests globally (instead of just limited access in France). The case – and the precedent of a state purporting to limit availability of information based on their domestic laws extra-territorially – has obvious implications for free speech, freedom of information and access to information on the internet around the world.
There are already a number of intervention briefs for the usual suspects (one is for Article 19, HRW, EFF, Open Net Korea, Derechos Digitales, La Clinique D’Internet Publbic Et De Politique D’Internet Du Canada, Reporters Sans Frontiers, International PEN and the Center for Democracy and Technology) and another by a huge number of US and UK based groups lead by the Reporters Committee for Freedom of the Pressç
There is also a draft uploaded here (tirei o link pois não é público), requesting your signatures, focusing on NGOs from the Global South with an interest in freedom of speech, freedom of information and internet policy. The following NGOs already signed and my friend is requesting, if you agree with the arguments, your signature, by March 28 (you can send it to me)
-
Internet Freedom Foundation
-
Software Freedom Law Center, India
-
Collaboration on International ICT Policy for East and Southern Africa (“CIPESA”)
-
Digital Rights Foundation
-
Unwanted Witness
-
Paradigm Initiative
-
Association for Progressive Communications
-
Datos Protegidos
The brief is uploaded here in confidence, if you will like to join this effort, please let me know as soon as possible. The lawfirm representing the case is Doughty Street Chambers. www.doughtystreet.co.uk
I also see it as an opportunity to get them (whose associates include Amal Clooney) more involved with our causes.
Let me know and happy to discuss the details.
