The Data Journalism Handbook: Towards a Critical Data Practice published open access with Amsterdam University Press

Congratulations to Liliana Bounegru and Jonathan Gray (@jwyg) on the open access publication of the new edition of the Data Journalism Handbook:

The handbook first started out life almost a decade ago as a project between Open Knowledge Foundation and the European Journalism Centre and we’re happy to see the latest edition.

Congratulations on the new publication, Liliana Bounegru and Jonathan Gray (@jwyg)! And thanks @stephenabbottpugh for sharing.

What happened to the datajournalismhandbook.org website? The domain now redirects to another site that has nothing to do with the Data Journalism Handbook.

Also, is this a new version of the same book that was translated to Portuguese and published by Abraji (Brazilian Association for Investigative Journalism) in Brazil in 2014?

Some more information is available in Liliana Bounegru’s post at the OKFn blog:

If you can read Portuguese, Escola de Dados (School of Data) has also written about it:
