Dedicated organization on github for Data Packages work

#1

Do we want to start using a dedicated Data Packages organization separate from main okfn Open Knowledge (Labs) one on github?

I’ve reserved https://github.com/datapackages/ in case the answer is yes.

Agreed, but most of the Data Protocols org would move there… so do we need Data Protocols in that case?

#3

Data Protocols are specs and would remain in their dedicated location - it isn’t just data package specs in data protocols and having a separate spec area is good.

Data Packages org would be for code, sites and apps etc.

So repos like these would live under https://github.com/datapackages/?

And URLs like http://profiles.datapackages.org/registry.csv and http://schemas.datapackages.org/{schema}.json would point to only datapackage-related concepts/files under https://github.com/dataprotocols/?
