It would be nice to use the checkbox plug-in to simplify what I was doing with emoticons in the topic: Backlog - Portals that I have found but haven't had time to enter into DataPortals.org.
Any plans for this or something similar?

Good suggestion. This is used to great effect on GitHub issues, so it would be nice to have similar functionality here. Looking into it.
